This policy explains what personal data Craftora collects, why we collect it and the choices you have. We keep it as short and clear as we can.
What we collect
- Account and order data: your email address, name (optional), orders, downloads and membership status — needed to deliver your files and manage your account.
- Payment data: handled by Stripe. We receive the payment result, the card brand and the last four digits, never your full card number.
- Usage data: pages and products you view, searches, items you save or add to your cart, device and browser information and your IP address. We use it to run the store, prevent fraud and show recommendations you are likely to enjoy.
- Messages: anything you send us through the contact form or by email.
Cookies and similar technologies
- Essential cookies keep you signed in, remember your cart and wishlist, protect forms against abuse and make checkout work. They cannot be switched off.
- Analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) help us understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Advertising cookies and pixels — the Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram), the TikTok Pixel and Google Ads tags — measure how our ads perform and help show our ads to people who may be interested.
Where the law requires it, analytics and advertising cookies are only used after you agree in our cookie banner, and you can change your choice at any time with the Cookie preferences link in the footer.
Advertising partners and conversion measurement
When you view a product, start a trial or make a purchase, we may share event details (for example the product, order value and an event ID) with Meta, TikTok and Google, both from your browser and from our server through their conversion APIs. Contact details such as your email address are sent only in hashed (encrypted one-way) form. These partners process the data under their own privacy policies. You can also control ad personalization in your Meta, TikTok and Google account settings.
How we use your data
- To provide the store, deliver downloads, manage memberships and send transactional emails (receipts, sign-in links, trial reminders).
- To personalize recommendations on the site based on what you browse.
- To measure and improve our marketing, where you have allowed it.
- To send newsletters if you subscribe — every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To prevent fraud and abuse and to meet legal and tax obligations.
Sharing
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run Craftora — payments (Stripe), email delivery, hosting, analytics and advertising measurement — and only as needed for those services, or when the law requires it. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep data
Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Browsing and recommendation data is deleted or anonymized within 6 months. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or California privacy law), you can ask to access, correct, download or delete your personal data, object to or restrict its use, and withdraw consent at any time. To make a request, write to [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy as our services change. The latest version is always on this page.
